ABOUT THE COURSE
The Yoga Moves Schools project is a training for teachers in Movement, Mindfulness and Meditation for the classroom. This is a very powerful way to create a positive growth mindset, build confidence and deepen the connection with each child in your class.
Yoga moves for the classroom are a variety of easy to use, child and space-friendly yoga moves that can calm a class or indeed give them the energy they need to finish the day. Using the power of the breath alongside some mindfulness techniques and yoga inspired moves you will help restore a person; centring them back into a receptive place and ready to learn. Teachers come away with an enhanced mindset and some powerful mindfulness tools that can be used both quickly and easily throughout the school day, as and when needed enhancing the emotional well-being for everyone in the class. We recognise how formative these early years are and how easy it is to make or break a child; and just how tough it can be to teach day in day out, children from all walks of life. The Yoga Moves Schools Project has been designed to help you stay in right relationship with why you decided to become a teacher and to enable you to enable the children with skills for life that will help them navigate those trickier times ahead. The Yoga Moves Project is designed to empower and enable both Teacher and child for years to come. |
70% of children & young people who experience a mental health problem have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age.
