Teen Yoga, Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher Training
Teen Yoga is the latest initiative from the WiggleBums Training Academy.
The impact of the last few years has been especially hard for young people in our community, so we decided to create this course to help support them and their mental and emotional health and well-being.
It’s a pioneering course that fuses the ancient traditions of yoga and mindfulness with modern-day psychology that will enable you to create a substantial toolbox for 12 - 18-year-olds that will sustain them for life.
Our syllabus is detailed and comprehensive. Essentially, the course can be broken down into these main sections:
- How to teach pranayama and asana
- 8-week Mindfulness & Meditation course
- Psychological development 12 - 18 years
- Physical, Mental & Emotional development 12 - 18 years
- Understanding the process of how belief structures and identity
- are created and how they can be rewritten
- Understanding yoga, its history and philosophy, and how this applies to young adults
- Learn how to teach, and hold space for each teen. Guiding them through specific yoga practices including movements, breath work, mindfulness, and meditation.
